The pre-Bridal March processional at my wedding -- for which I programmed all the music (on cassettes, cos it was 1997) -- was a Nicky Hopkins-written instrumental from the second Jeff Beck Group album called "Girl From Mill Valley."
"Loving Cup" is my favorite Nicky Hopkins performance. The barrel house and the delicate playing at the same time. He sounds like two piano players the way Robert Johnson sounded like two guitars. Every other instrument is playing along with him. There isn't a best song on Exile, but if there were, that might be it.
